As long as the DS is installed properly, and you're not drag racing, you may be able to get away without running a front loop for a while (like Jed
), but better to be safe than sorry.

Yeah, the plan is to squeeze both installs at once.
George, if Leo can't make it because of his Priority One football games (
), we can give you his time slot for a 1-pc aluminum 3.5" Shaftmaster DS install. Perfect time to do it since we'll have it up on jacks and the stock DS out of the way (will make it all that much easier to install the MGW).
Just have to get the BMR front loop and beg Kevin for a shim plate.
I got my Solo S2 off ebay for around $200 (slightly) used off a C5.

Hey football is priority especially when the Packs playing. I'm still looking into getting the compact HalGuard clean agent fire extinguisher in chome along with their custom polished billet bracket.
It's a good idea for everyone, especially for me with all the custom wiring I did in my cupholder area and behind the radio.
Looks good, but costs around $260 plus shipping (thru Summit).

You see them in imports more probably because their sewing machine motors have a tendency to blow up at 10k rpm's.
I just hope I NEVER tell you, "I told you so."

I'll try and load some pics although I hesitate to take any of my engine bay for fear of ridicule. I.E. its not clean and the choice of mounting location will not sit well with you car show guys. Actually its just roughed in for the moment until I decide where I want it to be permanently mounted. I've used some double sided tape/Velcro, yep Velcro while I decide. But I really like the intensity, color, beam patter and road lighting coverage. Far better then what I had with the O.E.M. lighting. Like night and day (sorry for the play on words) The cost was $125 so it was a very cheap upgrade/mod.
