That's exactly what came to mind when it happened. Do you know if his wouldn't start at all after that? I've now got it to start the last 2 times I've tried and I just drove it around a few minutes ago.
Leo's would just click (not lots of clicking from the solenoid, like a low battery) and the starter wouldn't turn over.
His battery showed a full charge. Even when jump started, it would still click.
Had it towed to the dealer and found the starter to be defective.
In your case, check your post terminals to make sure they're both tight. If loose, it can result in a 'hit - miss' in turning over the starter.
If it clicks again and you try to jump it with no results, it could be a starter issue like Leo's.

Mine clicked continuously. My battery is showing an idle charge of 12.4 watts as of now. I could also have a different problem with my battery. I've always had a really bad time with corrosion. I know I haven't cleaned them well in a while and that could certainly be hindering things. I think I'm still going to make a trip to the dealer in the morning to check it out.
You have to monitor the voltage while under load (ie. during starting). If it dips below 9V, the battery is most likely toast.
As for corrosion, put a penny on the corrosive post to solve the problem.

As soon as I got the car started, it jumped to 14+ and stayed there as I drove around. I'm going by what it says on my headunit, so I can't see what it's doing as I start it.

That sounds like the alternator is doing it's job. If you have a dead cell in the battery it'll be OK with little to no amp load but like Bill said place a big amp load on it and the volts will drop significantly. Still I'd take it to the local auto parts peddler and have them test it real quick.

Do Brian's suggestion, take the battery in and get it checked (usually for free). If it's good, that's one thing you can rule out.
Besides, it'll give you the chance to clean off your post!

Why do you like the red tops more?
Sounded like the car was trying to turn over. All the interior lighting was flicking as it clicked.
Well, I told the dealership specifically to check the battery. She seems to be running fine now, but I still wanna get it checked out. If they don't find anything with the battery, I'll get it checked out after she's done at the dealer. And if they don't clean my terminals, I'll be doing it soon anyway. (Show next weekend) I'm also getting a bunch of little things done at the dealer, so maybe it was good I was forced to take it in.

I like the Red Tops because they are not a deep cycle battery and seem to have longer life for a daily driven car. Example:
I had one in a Mazda RX7 (turbo, 5 speed, RWD, 2 seater ) along with a 700rwms audio system for 4 years as a daily driver here in Indiana (-5 in January, +95 in August) and I never had a single problem with it. I ended up selling the car with the battery in it...... man do I miss that battery. LOL. 
As soon as my stocker in the Mustang goes, I'm buying another Red Top. Vice versa, I've seen several failures on the Yellow Top series.
