So I was all prepared yesterday to unplug the sensor to see if that's the cause.

I start the engine, and no lights. Everything works as it should.

Stupid cars.

 

Hey there kiddies... doesn't seem I missed much during my Las Vegas adventure. However I do have some cool things to post even if my trip didn't really have anything to do with Mustangs or cars I ran into some interesting vehicles....

First up,
Thurs around state line, give or take... Had to make a pitstop and pulling in I saw two Raptors sitting in the gas station lot, was just going to comment on them when I realized that they had Michigan plates. Then I noticed that they had 6.2L badges. The guy said I could take pics as long as he's not in them. So the ONLY edits are a cropping and blacking him out for his wishes. He had to tell me that the orange one was a 4-door, didn't notice, and the silver one was an extended cab.








The next car was waiting outside the hotel as I was waiting for my car to come from Valet, no not the stang... my mom's Camry... first time I've ever seen more than 25 mpg

The silver is a new color for 2011, and of course the 4 door is new. Also the badge is new and hasn't been confirmed by anyone in pics yet.

It's a good score I think. These trucks have been spotted but never out in public, only at a controlled Ford photo shoot or there was on shot in particular where the crew cab was on the back of a trailer and the cover just happened to be off. Up till that shot everything was a photochop or in full clad camo.

no I did not, sorry I was looking for the badge to see if they were new 6.2 Raptors( you know me and engines ) and he opened the door for me to look inside and take pics and I completely didn't even think about it. I didn't know that there might have been an update to look for it or ask. Stupid I know, but I've never come across new vehicles like this and didn't know what I could or could not do and really didn't want to be that guy ya know ? So I took my couple of pics and headed off to the mini-mart. They were long-gone by the time I returned and they for sure didn't go North on the 15 cause I tried to speed up and see 'em on the road.

That's what made me look and start snapping pics. He probably waxed them and they turned that gray-whiteish color and then removed them. He also took off the louvers.

I thought the pjjones license plate was interesting, though doubt it has anything to do with him.

Well 40 is the new 20, I've been told... but after Las Vegas I feel like I'm 50... so you have that to look forward to.

Can you go to Raptorforumz and post a high res pic of the Raptor with the door open.

One of the guys was really jonesin trying to blow up the pic and compare the dash with the current model.

 

Done with some issues. I have the full-res but I cannot post it anywhere both Flikr and Photobucket limit the pic to 1024.

If you have an idea I can send the pic to someone to host or somewhere else. ?? I'll have to wait until after work to respond as TMS and all forums and pic sites are blocked at work and I have to leave to get to work...
