I love my HD. I mainly got it for the AM reception improvement so I can listen to sports and news broadcasts. AM reception around here is almost non-existent. It still cuts in and out of stereo to mono every once in a while but I couldn't even listen AM with my old receiver, especially going close to power lines or under over-passes. It was a good investment for me.

I listen to my iPod 95% of the time in in my Stang though.

George- What's your opinion on the Ipad after having it for a few months?

 

I'm interested to know too.

I'm really wanting to get one for internet around the house and stuff.

How is it for cruising TMS and typing responses? Writing emails and stuff?

 

Its great for watching movies, the netflix app is the bomb! emails are easy and browsing the forums is nice. The battery life is amazing! I have gotten up 12 hours on one charge!

It is a great unit to consume media(internet, movies, email, photos)

My only regret is not getting the 3g version.

I wonder I was thinking on the 3GS ipad and it says it takes a sim , so I wonder if the sim from my current 3GS iphone would slp in & away I go ? I guess I'd have to look at one to know, but then will they let me buy without a data plan as I have one ? if it works. just like swapping phones

the 3g ipad uses a micro sim so it wont work. no contract on the ipad you buy the 3gs service a month at a time.
