Just got a notice from FEDEX that my door handles have been delivered. Good thing I'm off at 1 today. Looks like I'll be starting the install as soon as I get home.

Well lets just say that my 2005 F350 wont be going anywhere for awhile. the tranny needs to be replaced as well as the fuel injector module. Also the turbo blew up and it needs new ball joints and tie rod ends. The dealer wants $11,000 to replace everything.

Thats partly right. That is the biggest money put out right there.

I figured that it is now time to put in aftermarket parts into her and get her more power with a few upgrades now.

Good luck with the install. I can't believe the door panel has to be removed just to swap out the handles.

Yeah I know it is. So I decided that instead of paying the dealer the $11k I will just get better aftermarket parts and have fun with a few more mods to her.

I guess Ford didn't anticipate people modding their interior door handles.

They should of! LOL!

When I had my '05, I had the basic black handles and bought the satin IUP handles and switched them out without taking the door panel off... Just pulled the handle parts out where they were... It was a pain, but it *is* doable...

I am sure it is probably a lot easier to do it by taking the panel off though!

it's a good bit, but my problem is that it'd be warm about 1/4 way though, and I hate warm beer
