That is an awesome deal! Stupid SoCal deals... They need something like that up here! Not that I can afford it right now, but still...

Something tells me the price of gear oil, and labor will more than make up for the cost of the "free" gears. Maybe I'm just being cynical.

Which is why I didn't sign up for it. I'm just not a believer in a free lunch, especially when it comes to auto mechanics.

If that was the case, then that would truly suck... Cause otherwise, what's the point?! Either way, since it's in SoCal, I can't take advantage of it anyway... But if a 'true' deal like that came across up here, I'd probably jump on it... That's one of the few performance mods I still really want to do...

Part of the reason I haven't gotten it done yet (besides the price) is I don't know who to trust when it comes to gears... I have heard a ton of horror stories... Everyone says they can do an awesome job, yet it seems only a few can actually deliver...

The other biggie for me is that with the 3.55s traction is questionable at best in lower gears. Going to 4.10s or 3.73s would just be silly I think at this power level.... Silly but a lot of fun

for Leo having the Avatar and signature of the day

X-Box.... I'm still holding out for the PS3 just so I can have Blu-Ray.

I'm N/A, so gears for me is a must at some point, especially since it's an auto with the 3.31 gears! I don't ever plan on going F/I, so the power I have now will be the same... I'm good with that...

I would love to do a S/C or Turbo, but it's not in the budget on this Mustang... You all seem to have a money tree... I have a money bush...

And when/if I get gears, it'll probably be 3.73's... I don't need anything super crazy... Just better than 3.31's!

I am still debating on holding off all mods to this car, taking the money and saving it to buy an '08 or '09 Cobra in a couple years... I miss the manual transmission and if I am going to trade/sell my car, I want to upgrade...

How the hell do you even have any traction at all. Maybe the tires are getting old on mine but lately if I try any serious throttle in first it just spins.

Thought it was Gary making the post, whoops. I probably should actually read the post than just react to it

Gotta get the PS3. If things hold together I'll finally be able to go HD early next year

Well chumps... off to Santa Monica to pick up my Sway Bar. No looking towards the drive which I'm sure will suck. But I get to save some bucks, so what the hell.

I wish I could jump on that deal

Rant: My rear bumper is on back-order Apparently there was issues with the mold. Earliest date? November 27th Even then, there's a slight risk of getting a defective one. Which would eat up more time if that ends up being the case.

Only good news: We get to have another install party for the battery mod

First ain't so bad. Just feather it.

It 2nd that's a wild ride. And the occasional downshift to third on the freeway where the rear end just wants to break loose at 60mph. That's the scariest one.

God I love it.

Also it ain't a daily driver neither.

That's what you get for going with a bread bumper.
