I think most of us here advised you guys back when Ray attempted his to let a shop handle the pulley swap.. just saying.

Yep! You warned us!

Well, to continue a boring story, I took the bolt in to the shop, drilled the 8mm stud that was stuck inside and removed it with an easy-out.

I just measured the diameter of the S/C pully shaft so I can make a bushed jig so I can use a carbide drill in the absolute center which will leave about .060 material inside to pull out with an easy-out in the same manner as was done to the bolt.

Hopefully I'll have another cute little spring like I got from the bolt today when I am done!

Thats the plan anyway.

I just bought and used this camera strap at the Ponies by the Sea show. I love this thing! Takes all of the weight off your neck, in fact I think I strained my neck hanging 10 lbs or so with my two cameras at the Queen Mary show.

I highly recommend it! A JED approved product.

I bought it here... (Type in Trekking)

If it's the 16th's then I'm OK, otherwise count me out. I'll be miles away enjoying beer on a beach not worrying about anything

So yesterday, I soldered and heat shrinked the wire with the help of my bro-in-laws because of the crappy access. Now it's good to go!
Glad you got it fixed. I know it's been keeping you from driving it much.

PCH is great. If you have the time, take the trip, either way, from San Simeon to Monterey (stopping at Big Sur).... breathtaking.....

When are you coming out ??

I plan on taking all the time I want

Hopefully it'll be summer of either 2011 or 2012, depending on if I can afford it after graduating college or finishing graduate school, seems sooo far away, but it's getting closer everyday, and I'm ready for it tomorrow...just a couple weeks of driving around the country with no particular purpose, meeting all the wonderful mustang people I know, seeing the beautiful country....

Cool. Well a full trip down PCH is well worth the time. I hope to take the Stang up PCH to Washington within a year or so myself. Obviously keep us updated we'll make sure to have a blast

Good product for Ray.

The rest of us with Point & Shoots don't need it.

Carport is better than nothing... Unfortunately not as secure though... Hope you have good neighbors!

Most of the times my car got messed with was in my old car port... > But I had some bad neighbors in the 5 years I lived there...

Moving sucks big time, good luck Leo.

I finished putting up one of those 10'x20' canopys this weekend. My beast finally has some temporary protection from the elements. Just in time for the rain last night and the next couple of days.
