I sincerely hope any and all high speed runs would be done in a closed course and safe controlled environment. We definitely do not promote any actions that would put anyone in potential harms way

Got up to 140 MPH or somewhere around there before I had to let go due to increasing traffic.

And yes, that was german Autobahn, so yes, that was a legal speed

Well, I haven't tried topping out my '11 5.0L, but from a standing start I've made it to 115 mph + in just 1320' (4 city blocks) a bunch at our local drag strips and have been over 120 mph out the back side of the traps in the process (and that's just in 4th gear). I suspect that this car will go 160+ should I ever find a legal place to wring it out.

 

About 120-125 in my 04 Gt( 4.10 gears)
130-140 in my old Nissan 240sx, speedo only went to 115, needle was bending against the dash for a while so. Those were my crazy days.

 

125 Didn't have anymore room to wrap it out.

 

165mph, on a nice open stretch of the autobahn! Gonna miss Germany.
