Looks like a blast. Did you have a good time, and how did you convince the Ferrari and Porsche guys to let you play?

 

I'm an 'unofficial' member of the LVPCA (Porsche Club of America - Las Vegas Region). I'm invited to all their stuff, and I do my track days with them. I met their President at Cars & Coffee a year ago, and I asked to be added to their mailing list. The two Ferraris are in the same boat as me. They are a great club, very welcoming. And they love my car! So it's a lot of fun...especially the track days.

You have done your exterior mods very tastefully! The car looks awesome! Doesnt look out of place at all!

 

I had a 2004 Focus SVT in Screaming Yellow 5 door little beast. I sure wish I still owned it. That little car was like a gown ups gokart for the road. And the Recaro seats were mega comfortable.

 

I still miss my svt focus. If ford made them again I would buy it over again.

 

Thanks, everyone. It was such a fun day for me, wifey, and son (6 years old car nut & Mustang fan). Someone asked about track days...my GT runs great on the track, and I smoke most of the Porsches I run with - mostly because the owners are afraid to push their cars. The Ferrari owners go pretty slow on the track, too. However the Corvettes and GT-Rs blow me away. I've modded my car for mild track duty (suspension, wheels/tires, brakes). These newer GTs are such great bang for the buck, I feel so lucky to own one.
