Was just wondering what you guys thing about it? I know it can be used responsibly, but i think its also gonna get some young or inexperienced drivers in some doo doo, tickets, car in the ditch, etc.

 

I can see exactly where this could turn into someones worst nightmare...

like watching the christmas tree lights and inadvertently plowing over a pedestrian -- or running down a side street and testing out your 0-100mph figures. since we have a free market system -- getting the right person mated with the right technology is as hard as getting folks to stop texting or making that "important" phone call while barreling down the highway.

It comes down to two things--
1. Use it as a tool = you can become more connected to your car
2. Use it as a toy = trouble for everyone that may be around

come to think of it... maybe a responsible individual could lock down the app for a new driver with the MyKey feature -- just like you can custom tailor your max speed and other setting... just a thought
