And why would he get a vert? I guess it doesn't matter since it'll never be driven anyways. I don't understand why Ford didn't offer the GT500 in all the colors - Comp Orange, SBY, Yellow Blaze, Lava Red etc, would look amazing on the GT500. Stupid.

 

I concur. Can you imagine a Competiton Orange GT500 with black matte stripes?!?!

Also,....I know on another forum that I occasionally surf, someone is getting/got their GT500 wrapped in GHIG.

 

They declared the last shelby was to be a convertible, which makes it even rarer even though its a 1 of 1. If i paid that price i wouldve gottena coupe though

I concur but what would be even better is a comp orange Boss in the '13-14 body style.

If I could go back a couple of years, I would have ordered a Sterling Grey Metallic Boss 302. When they told me no, I would have told them make it happen or I walk away. Who knows, they might have made a special order like that.

 

Now they will only do special orders of colors if you order 5 or more (typically for businesses). They will do it, if you want 5 of the same car or can get 5 buyers lol.

Agreed. That's one of those love it or hate it colors.

 

I like GHIG, but I would never buy one. It's not my style. Too flashy. I do think it looks really nice though, just on other peoples cars.

That would have been tough for me to decide between that or the GHIG. I'd probably go with the GHIG because my Camaro SS was Hugger Orange with white leather interior.

 

I got compliments all the time on my Grabber Orange GT as well, but I personally didn't like that color either. I just bought the car because I got a good deal on it. It's just because they're both bright colors that you don't see very often. I also wouldn't agree that Mustangs are meant to be flashy. Something like a Lambo is meant to be flashy, not a muscle car.

I agree 100%. Ford should have left the green to the Donk cars on 30 inch rims not to the mustang. I hate the green.
