Blue could be considered depressing but not really, that idea was inspired by Picasso during one of his periods of creating work. He was contracting stds like syphilis from various prostitutes and created a series of paintings to reflect his mood. After all, his early works were hung in brothels only to be discovered by the wealthy. It's amazing how we've adopted the idea of blue since then. Just some color theory for you. I think someone even wrote a song about counting blue cars. Anyway, I'm blue da ba dee.

Very true as well. I think someone missed the point and how the human eye/brain responds to colors. Blue in this case. Blue is a universally masculine color. Grabber blue is named just for that and "to grab the viewers eye." I think "out there" was the goal that Ford was looking for. It's commands attention because its a drastic looking analogous color to the normal opinion of the hue.
I still say that this color is by no means a feminine color. Never has been, never will be. But what do I know in all of "my long haired books?"
