A Newbie and another check build quest.

Yes I'm a newbie and long time Mopar guy (Hence the Stang-Par! I have a 69 Road Runner with a Hemi in it), but I have dabbled with Mustangs and Fords in between ('89 5.0 LX notch back 5 speed and '92 LX hatch back 5.0 5 speed plus an F150 pick up). I just order a 2012 Mustang GT, Kona Blue (tried to get Lava red but apparently it can't be ordered anymore), GT brakes, Security, Electronics, 6sp manual last Saturday (jan 15). Because I live in the great white north (white because of the salt), I really dont want it until April-May when the salt washes away however it would be fun to track it's progress.

Here's my questions (which many have asked): How can I track the build without driving the dealer crazy. I have the dealer code and sales number. I assume the body code is P8C. It's currently at Scheduled/Clean status. Anyway, thanks in advance for your help. Look forward to talking to you all.

Welcome, I'm not sure about the tracking as I have not ordered one. I believe I read some posts that others have done it. Call the dealership and they should know, if not Ford Motor Company will. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Thanks for the welcome. My hope was that there was a way to enter the dealer code, sales order number and body code on line rather than having to call the dealer for the info. Is there a number at Ford you can call to get this info?

Thanks again!
