Just something for all you Ford owners in the Mid-East & Mid-Atlantic who are dealing with the RED-eyed menace...

...The 17 year Cicada plague.

Nice!

Darn Cicadas are keeping me from driving my Mach!!

Parts of Cincinnati are swarming with them, others are not (especially where newer [past 17 years] developments/construction have manifested).

Oh well going to Tennessee this weekend so I'll "hit" them oneway or another!

Ya know Chuck, I almost forgot about this, but seeing your drawing reminded me of it. I was driving the Mach last week, and I ran into a couple of them, and I think one went in the shaker.

I hope it didn't what a PITA it would be to get it out.

BTW, PM your info about the Saleen drawing.

I looked in and didn't see anything. I even tried to see if I could smell it. Nothing....I hope.

Picture walking into a garage and someone has their nose stuffed in the shaker...try explaining that one.

Nice pic. I didn't get it at first until I put on my glasses and saw what whas splattering on his windshield. :geek: Now, to take them off and stow them away where I wont dig them up for another four months...

Are the cicadas really that bad? I haven't seen a single one in New York... yet. Then again, it just started getting hot recently, so they could be springing up any time soon.

Here in Hughesville we haven't seen any yet, but I did smash into a LOT of bugs on the way to Berwick yesterday.

Thanks everyone!

Here in central Maryland, the Cicada thing is just about over.
Now we have to deal with all the dead branches that all falling off trees (and on to cars) from the damage caused when the bugs lay eggs.

Can't say that I tasted any, but my 7 yr old son trained a few to do tricks.
