Just thought some of you might like to see this Video.
It was taken at the 2011 NMRA World Finals in Bowling Green, KY.

What you might find interesting is that this 08 Bullitt is the {Only} Automatic in Existence.
All 08/09 Bullitt Mustangs from Ford come with a 5-Speed Manual Tranny.

Brenspeed converted mine to the now TCI Super Street Fighter trans.
It is running the Circle-D converter.
Stall is 2,500 RPM set-up for the street.

This is a street driven Mustang and all Factory accessories are working.

It does have a Sound of it's own under Wide-Open-Throttle.

It could go there with Slicks but I can live with the 10.32 pass.
Not to ragged for a little Ole street Mustang.

I love Beech Bend, was sorry that I was out of town and couldn't go. And as I mentioned in the other thread, I love your car. Reading your build had me ready to go to Brenspeed with my SGT before I decided to step up to a new 500.

 

You would had a really Awesome time if you had been there.
Weather was great and there were some terrific Mustangs there.

So you went with a new GT-500.
Nothing wrong with one of those Bad Boys for sure.

Yes, I've followed your build for a while. I had this....



And was on the cusp of upgrading it at Brenspeed with a blower after following your build. But I ended up trading it for this because the $$$ just didn't work out...




I still love your car though. Its such a badass, and it looks fantastic.

 

Man, both of those Mustangs are Awesome looking.
I really like the New 500 that is one Bad looking Machine for sure.

Wow, what a car. Curious, I am looking at getting a GT 5.0 with California Special package and HID headlights. Aside from the hood scoop and rims, it would look pretty similar to that black GT500 wouldnt it? Somehow that car just looks worlds apart in my mind, but technically arent the body styles/frontend the same?

Hi Glen,

Yes I have been to several of them now.
Including the most recent at The Tail of the Dragon.
My Bullitt was at Brenspeed so a Buddy let me drive his 2001 Bullitt to it.
Actually I had the 01 Bullitt for Months as a Bullitt Loaner.
