New Mustang Museum

For those interested I'm sure you know that we are getting the new Mustang Museum here in Concord, NC near the Charlotte (Concord ) Motor Speedway. I thought I would give you a progress report. The site work has been completed, and that's it for now. My guess is they will wait until spring to start the actual construction. Winter weather around here tends to be quite wet. I'll do my best to ya'll updated.

UPDATE: Due to the limited parking at the original location the museum board had decided to move to a larger location with more parking, and easy access. Thankfully the new location will be approx 2 blocks from the old. It will be in the Carpenter Industrial Park on Hwy. 29 (Concord Parkway) due to open spring of 2018. If you're not familiar with the Carpenter's they opened a Mustang reproduction company some years back, and they reproduce hard to find parts right here in Concord.

You can read all about the Museum here:

Update: If it stops raining, ground breaking should began at the new site this week. They are hoping for an April 2018 opening. But, I don't think it will be that soon as winters in the south tend to be quite wet.
