New Mustang Club Feature

Members...

I wanted to let everyone know that we have implemented a new Mustang Clubs feature. We are asking that members who are a part of a Mustang club add the club's information to the list.

You will notice the new drop down menu here:

This feature allows members (and guests) to add Mustang Clubs to this list. We would really like to have this be a very extensive list of Mustang clubs. So please, if you are a part of a Mustang Club, please put this information in for review using the Clubs --> Register your Club link.

Some of the Club features are listed here below.
  • Geographical display of clubs via Google Maps
  • Directory of clubs by country/state, and alphabetical listing
  • One step presentation of all club information
  • Contact all club coordinators using easy-to-use communication tool

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.

Cool feature, maybe I will now be able to find one close to where I live. Not much car culture here in the Northeast.

Submitted ours.
We may not have much culture, but we have lots of members in New England.
Maybe you can make it up Rt. 93 sometime if you can't find other clubs.

I agree- thats a great idea!

edit: just looked- suggestion: could the page also be a 'sticky' be a header for a club thread here on TMS? I know the club I had joined had a part time website...having a place where members could keep in touch better/share pics etc would be great

It drives my nuts, it seems like everyone is either in western MA or north of the city/southern NH.

Which page are you looking to be a sticky? I'm not sure I'm completely understanding.

if each club had a sticky, they could have their own little 'forum'...one header for all their members to hop over to for late local info...

If you click on our club's homepage in the drop down there is a a list of local info.
There is also a link to our forums:
http://www.smokinstangs.com/forumdis...H-Mustang-Club
That works fine for me, no sticky needed.

gotcha...most clubs have a decent site, but not all...youre right, guess a club without one could just as easily link to any TMS thread they start for their group too-, I wasnt thinkin... the club I was in only updated their page monthly/no forums/etc, nice groupof folks, but not much computer time I guess...

There is an option for clubs to have a sub-forum if they would like. They would need to contact the site and we could set it up for them, but it is a question that is asked when the information is collected about the club.
