New 04 Cobra

Just bought an 04 Cobra that has 90k miles on it. Was wondering if I should have a complete overhaul done on it. This will let me find out if any mods have been done and insure longevity of the motor. I was told a New Stage 3 clutch was just installed. I can take this 2 ways. They planed to adding MODs that needed a stage 3 or it has mods and needed a stage 3. Bought it from a dealer and they didn't know either way.

Congrats on the buy.

Motor looks stock to me. Personally I wouldn't worry about getting it overhauled. Don't fix it if it ain't broke.

As for the clutch. I would take it as a mod. Probably the stock clutch went bad and they upgraded.

Well, the motor usually has a plastic cover over the blower pulley ... it's gone, so it was either lost or a pulley swap took place, which was usually when I saw those covers go buh-bye ...

A lot of people take the cover off because it looks better. And too bad op doesn't have the original hood. And bro it's a terminator it speaks for its self no need to overhaul.

Congrats on the new ride. The only thing that needs to be overhauled is that disgusting hood.

Lol that's the cervini stalker hood. That's not a bad looking hood, but to each his own.

Thank you everyone for the input. As always it is very valuable.

Can't wait to start dressing up under the hood. Just an amazingly beautiful car.

Welcome and congrats. You don't see many white Terminators. Looks good. Don't worry about overhauling anything. That's a hand built forged motor. Don't worry about it unless you hear or see a problem.

The Terminator just arrived. While it was still on the trail or I took the opportunity to look underneath. Had the off road H-Pipe no cats, flowmaster catback. Sounded amazing..... Few additions inside the car was bellet interior accents, short shifter with pistol grip. Under the hood apps I noticed was the open intake box with an over sized air filter.

First time to drive it... OMG is it mean. Loved every second of the drive home. Tomorrow she get pampered to a fresh oil change, car wash, and a wax job.
