We are going to be in Frisco, TX for Christmas and I'll be due for an oil change. The dealers are VERY pricey. Does anyone have a recommendation for a shop that can do my oil change well and not break the bank doing it?

 

Go to Sam Pack's Five Star Ford, that's who I use when I'm in the DFW area..... Reasonable price and good service. If I recall, it's $39 for the "works". Oil and filter change, rotate tires, lube joints and inspect the rest as needed.

 

One of the other area dealers had The Works special recently - I think it was the one in McKinney, but they aren't showing that special any longer. I suspect that ~$39 price is only when they have the special running, but I can call around when we get down there.

 

It's not in Frisco, but Don Davis Ford in Arlington does oil and filter changes on my Mustang for $32.

 

tukatz, I just looked on the Ford owners site as it's time to change to oil in my F-150, and the $39.95 "works" is still there. It does have an expiration, but it's been my experience when they always update it before it does expire.
