My crashed '07, and new '13 with Ace Convex wheels
I haven't posted here in a while, but figured I'd update everyone with some recent pics. In February of this year I crashed my '07, and State Farm decided it was totaled. I got a good settlement, and used that to get a new '13 GT.
I looked long at hard at what wheels to get, and eventually settled on these Ace Convex. I could have gotten them in black, but figured that would have been too much black - and I like the subtle contrast of the 'grey'.
What do you guys think?

Yeah, I was sad to see the '07 go, but getting a new '13 helped me get over it. I do have plans to lower it, but the budget is shot for a while....

your '13 looks fantastic. love the wheels, and it will be even better with a little drop. Im returning from deployment and going to pick up my 13 soon, counting the days.

Thanks. I did look at the chrome, but preferred the more subtle look of the grey. I was going for a more 'refined' look - and less 'hot rod'. I'm a 48 year old dad of two, and the wife was pressuring me to get something 'sensible' - like a small SUV. This was my compromise.
Sorry about the wreck

Good choice on the wheel and color.. Nice, subtle and gangster look..
Lower will look better.. but I'm biased...
And 48 is not old... The beginning of the best, next part of your life.. The one where you have money to play with cars.

Sorry about the accident but you got a VERY nice replacement. I was also looking at these wheels last year but finally decided on something else.
Eibach Pro Kit is a nice drop for our cars and goes perfect for our age group. 😊 1" in the front and 1.5" in the rear.
