Good to see Mustang pull ahead in the sales race but the real test will come when the 2016 Camaro arrives.
GM seems to be going for an evolutionary design mimicking many of the current Camaro's cues but on the alpha platform which in ATS-V form sporting 450 horsepower is around 3600 pounds.
I'm not sure how much of that weight will transfer over to a cheaper V8 Camaro but if GM can keep the weight within 100 pounds (or less) of the ATS-V at a Mustang or Camaro price point and many people still find favor with the Camaro's styling that will be a tough battle for Mustang.
