Mustang engines can handle everything the best

I don't like to jinx myself or anyone else but I feel so confident when I take my Mustang on the shortest trips or the longest. I feel they can handle any condition and I never have worries. Starting back in 1982 with my very first new GT in the hottest weather in Florida to the snows of Alberta Canada in my old 2007 GT/CS, I have had total confidence. Our very short quarter mile trips to the local walking track are supposedly a 'no-no' as the engine never warms up, but it's never been an issue and I certainly appreciate that. Changing the oil is always key but still... I would not use my Dodge in this fashion as I would fear the dreaded Hemi 'tick'. The LS1 in my T/A is also 'bullet proof' it appears but I feel better about things in my Mustang. 40+ years in different Mustang models helps build that confidence I guess.
I'm sure others feel the same as I do but just wanted to say something positive in these tough times. I'll always love my Mustangs.

The modular engines themselves are pretty solid motors. Some of the items that get bolted onto them could be improved (like the IMRC in the intakes, Ford?) but the engines themselves have treated us very well. Ran the 4.6 in the 2006 GT to 205,000 miles. Had some issues with the things that were bolted onto it, but the engine was great! Same with the 5.0.

Maintenance is The Key & I Know You Never Slack Off on That!

I See Vids online All the Time With Ding Dongs That Never Change Oil & Think Cause They got a Warranty Why Bother! The Warranty Does Not Cover Failure Due To Lack of Maintenance!

Looks Like Taffy When They Pull The Pan!

Here is Your Engine Bill! Thank You Come Again!

You can take care of an engine, or you can wish you did. Pick one.

These beasts capable of revving up to 6500-7000rpm. That's a lot of metal doing a lot of traveling, very fast, kept turning by controlled explosions. And it can keep doing it for years and years.

Regular oil changes and other routine maintenance are an insignificant cost by any comparison. Same thing with the turbo engines. Gotta take care of them, or risk getting bit in the backside.

All it takes is good old common sense when it comes to maintaining your car... As long as you always take good care of your car, your car will always take good care of you...

These guys take care of the maintenance. They don't want to end up at Goodwill.
