Which Model-New to Mustang

I'm looking to get into the Mustang world, always loved the car and they seem as good as a muscle car as ever has been built these days. My kids are finally big enough I can ditch the need for 4 doors and big back seats!!

Question is if I'm looking for a good blend of 1. performance and 2. creature comfort what model do I go for? I'm looking at below currently

2012 Rouch 427
2012 or 13 Boss

I figure the GT 500 is more than I need, it will be a daily driver, plus crossing over 50k is a mental block for me.

What model do you guys suggest for a good blend of power, performance and comfort? I'll never hit a track but I'll drive the wheels off it as a daily driver??

Thx

Welcome to the forum Steve. Just my humble opinion, the 427's, and the Boss's may not be the optimal daily driver. Lot's of power, gas mileage is not the best for everyday, and the ride is not as smooth due to the suspension upgrages on the styles. Now, if your looking for comfort in a daily driver I would say the premium package in either the standard V6, or GT. Get's you leather, and a few more features that you'll like. That said, then you want to look a mpg's. If that's a big deal, the V6 is what you want. With 305 HP, it will still get the job done with up to 31 mpgs on the highway. If mpg's aren't a necessity, go with the GT. The mileage is still great in my opinion w/25 - 26 mpgs highway with an auto trans, and the 302 is a beast. My Wifey has the '13 GT premium as a daily driver. The car is a joy to drive, and the sound of that little 302 is the best blood pressure medicine made by man. Go to www.ford.com, and use the build and price section. There you can build your car in many different fashion, and get an idea of the price. They are great cars, and either way you do your gonna love having one. But, be careful. The kids may come back home, and want to drive Dad's new car. Good luck.

Welcome to TMS! I recommend you go to a dealer and test a V6 & a GT first - you might find they're juicy enough & you can always make 'em faster.
