Long road trips

Has anyone ever taken a long road trip and had to use GPS and instead of getting on the interstate you end up taking small town back roads all the way there? I was so mad until I noticed all of the beautiful cars you see. From school to the beach I saw countless cobras just hanging out in yards.

Well I don't do gps but have often taken the 'roads less traveled'. Its kind of cool to see the older towns and neighborhoods and cabins etc. And like you said, you often see some nice hot rods.

Yea I would like not to have to worry about gps but my girl can sleep and not complain with it haha. But yes I saw a very nice 03 cobra, and for the first time ever I saw a grand national. Fun drive.

Greedy Companies like McDonald's and starbucks actually pay GPS companies to route you so that you will pass one or two of their establishments in your journey.

This is really annoying especially when it routes you through the center of heavy traffic. However, it's usually the back roads. Enjoy the ride though!

Happened to us headed from Jax, FL to Ohio. Off the interstate and on a backwoods highway. When we got there we realized we had avoid tolls selected. Did see some nice country though....I like Starbucks, wish there was a drive past more option
