Feb's 5.0 has a couple turbo/TT'd cobra's in it.

 

WHOOOOA!!! Those were two sweet rides! Cobra prob weighs about 600lbs more though, strip it down.

 

I don't think the 600lbs could help that Cobra the way he got spanked!

Listen close you can here it and that's the only way Cobra lost that one ! I'm pretty sure.

 

I have no way of knowing, besides, I don't even know them, you could be right for all I know.

 

Oh come on now. Using NOS or some other nitrous system isnt going to provide any noticable sound over the high revs of any motor. You can not "hear" the spray unless you engage it during part throttle with engine noise output at a minimum (just above idle).

This doesnt mean the "turbostang" wasnt using nitrous to spank that cobra but you cant simply tell by just listening for sound of spray @ WOT.

you can hear N02 on some cars if you are next to it. My buddies camaro has two distinct sounds on spray... that was just turbo lag in the vid...those things creep up on ya! hahaha i can just see that cobra...."oh man this was easy....::looks in rearview:: uhmmmmmm uh oh!"

ITS NOT N02, ITS N20!

The only sounds that are apparent when spraying are the solenoid's click off and on and the engine revs picking up extremely fast. With the noise output from an engine at WOT you are not going to hear the solenoids click or hear the spray unless you are right under the hood during that sprint. Even if you were racing somebody with the window down and he was right next to it he'd be hard pressed to pick out that little "woosh" noise as it flows through the intake over all the other noises under that WOT condition. The sound is very similar to that of putting your foot into the pedal for a quick moment and backing it off and hearing that "Cold Air Intake" of yours take a big gulp of air (but much more quiet).

I am of course refering to smaller shots of nitrous oxide, like nothing more than 200. If some monster motor is spraying like 500 or more you might be able to hear something IF the exhaust system is buttoned up real good. Thats a whole lot of juice!

i wasnt talking about the physical spray sound...just the fact that if you hear a car jump on it without nitrous and then his a WOT switch...its a night and day difference...my buddy started out with a 100 then 125 then 150 now hes at a two stage 250 shot....that makes some noise hahaha

 

The video I am waiting for is the one of you and 169stang going toe to toe!! I would pay money to see that one! LOL!!

Once you guys both have your turbos all setup, you need to promise us all that we will get a video.. No matter who wins or loses, that video has got to be all over the net!!
