Went to an advance screening tonight. Pretty good movie ... lots of cars driving fast of course.

2013 Mustang is definitely the star of the movie. 2015 Mustang does a cameo appearance at the end ...

we mustang fans in houston hav put an event to go see the movie together with all of ride.. that should be fun.. tickets all purchased in advance. thanks for the pre-release review.

Keep in mind there is no CGI in this movie. Supposedly the actors did all of their own driving. At least that is what the Director said prior to the screening.

There are 3 race scenes and a 2 chase scenes.

I would say max score out of 10 was a 7.

You will notice some nostalgia in the movie ... scenes purposely recreated or shown from other famous car movies.

 

There is no need to be a rude jerk about it.

In all seriousness, that question was answered and I was amazed that people are still clueless about the movie.

 

I plan on seeing it! Will the acting be subpar, for sure lol. But the racing and the cars will still be amazing nonetheless. If you're going to see it, in theaters is the way to watch it! Don't wait for it on dvd, won't be the same.

The scenes on the mountain roads, redwood forest, and coast were filmed for the most part in Mendocino Co, CA. They even closed a state hwy for about 3 days. Unknown actors, movie based on a video game, hot cars, beautiful girls-that game plan worked for Fast and Furious.

 

How were the car sounds?

 

Glorious! Of course, once the transporters hauled all the cars away, the gross retail value of all autos in the county dropped by about half.

 

All the cars in the movie were hand-built replicas .. not real cars.

Pretty good movie. Acting wasn't that great but the cars make up for it
