I wonder what I will get from them after I bring home something new at the end of the week? I am thisclose to getting heres the keys have fun in it test drives I spend so much time there.

I have been begging my best to get my dahlin to go for a Gt.........It ain't working. Theres a torch red up there that's to die for. BUT its gonna be some kind of something with a bed on it. He said two mustangs would be odd. I said- it would be cool, because since we don't share well........Hes never drove Eleanor, and says he never will.

I'm not sure what its like in The USA as oppossed to Canada but apparently for the first year of where you bought your Mustang that you will get a 15 % discount on whatever you buy from them ?

When I bought my first stang from Ourisman World in Alexandria VA, they sent me touch up paint after month two. Good Marketing!

Sheehy Ford in Springfield VA never sent me touch up paint, and niether has Cowels Ford in Woodbridge VA for the 05.

I think that if I was a salesman for a car dealer, I would spend some of my commission and send this stuff out myself. It might get me several cars down the road and pay for itself several times over.

darn, thats all you get for the '05??? When i bought my '99... i got a package in the mail w/ a hardcover 35th anniversary history of mustang book, leather cd case w/ the 35th pony logo, 5 cds of cool music, and a leather key chain w/a running pony coin thingie on it. It was from Ford too... not my dealer. THAT was a cool gift.
I saw an unopened Ford 2005 DVD at the dealership a couple weeks ago that had a Mustang on the case. Anyone know what this is, and if Ford is giving them away?

Sales tools.Have em for all the cars. I am in the process of sweet talking one home with me.
They also have a test around here- I got 34 out of 36 right, I could TOTALLY sell mustangs.

I got nothing. Grantsdale you got your car after me and I still got nothing! Should I say something to the dealer? Or is this a Ford function?

I got my touch up paint today, along with a booklet titled "Six Easy Steps to the Ultimate Ownership Experience". I laughed out loud when I read "....we've created this start up guide that tells you how to make the most of your Ford-all in less time that it takes to fill up your gas tank." And my service tech said he knew of no problem filling up

Anyone get anything like this recently? I asked my sales person - blank stare. I asked the sales manager - blank stare. I asked the GM - blank stare. I asked at the parts department - blank stare. I asked the 'person in charge of promotions' - blank stare. The GM said he'd make some calls - so far nothing. Just wondering if this was some kind of short lived deal? I filled out the survey long ago but nothing has ever been sent.

Usually when they feel good the sales person walks you down to the service desks to gloat a bit and introduce you to them and they give cleaning kits and in our dealer hear a card for the first year at everything that is an accessorie at 30 % off

Good luck...I got a "Customer Service Questionaire" from Ford that promised me a "welcome" package after completion. That was in November 04...called Feb 05....called April 05...called June 05 and called this month...so far Customer Service (ford corporate) keeps saying it's "being sent in the next 6-8 weeks" but they have been saying that for 6 months. The salesman was excellent with everything but helping me with this. Everything up to the point where I signed for the car he did 110%...after that...well....you are on your own.

My 2nd 05 (purchased 08/22/05) the salesman handed us a 150,000 Mile extended "Max-life" warranty package, an extra $20 gas voucher, 2 oil change vouchers, a free Auto Bell car wash voucher, and a tube of touch up paint. He had been a car salesman for 2 days and we were his 2nd sell. Makes you wonder if the longer you do it the less you do once the car is sold?

I guess I'll have to purchase the touch up paint for mine....since I am apparently not getting it for free :bang:

Jay
