God wheres the Ford Fairies when I need em?

I gotta have a vert..Immediately or I get a stupid ford truck parked in the driveway.

I thought the box had goodies also.....Imagine my sadness when it came stuffed with styrofoam..

Very nice! I took delivery of my 'stang back on October 29, and I haven't received even as much as a survey from Ford.

 

I think Ford sends out their little care package after you send in your Ford survey. I received the survey a couple weeks ago, so maybe just maybe my littlepackage is on its way.

 

I went to dealer and asked for a bottle of touch up paint, they were out but sent by mail 3 days later.

 

i have not yet sent my survey back... but got mine.

 

I just made an assumption about the survey and the touch-up paint by Ford, looks like I am wrong. Anyway I guess the paint may be in the mail someday.

 

darn, thats all you get for the '05??? When i bought my '99... i got a package in the mail w/ a hardcover 35th anniversary history of mustang book, leather cd case w/ the 35th pony logo, 5 cds of cool music, and a leather key chain w/a running pony coin thingie on it. It was from Ford too... not my dealer. THAT was a cool gift.

 

little off topic, but my dad gave to me today a nameplate he recieved from ford when he bought his fastback new. (we have the same name). It has a silver pony on it, looks cool. Supposedly there was a plant strike or something and many peoples orders were held up. As a gift, ford sent the nameplates out to people with a letter signed by the vice president of the company at the time.

Hey Eleanor, I see you are from alabaster, me to! I got my black gt from McCarty a week ago today. I have seen a yellow v6 around town, matter of fact I saw it saturday on 119 in Syluria, is that you? I have not gotten my tag yet but be looking for one that says MINO that will be me(only on sunny days though and usually only on the weekends.

Eleanor is not to be confused with her yellow evil twin. Yes I was on 119 Saturday. I was going to see JR at Ernest about a second vehicle and cry over their yellow GT I want my husband to buy.

Just a heads up on the touch up paint. Don't use the crappy brush that comes with it. Use an actual paint brush. I used some on my door handle and you can spot the scratch

For anyone in the alabaster area the folks at McCarty were good to work with.
April, the two black ones may have sold the same day but mine was ordered before Christmas. I have seen a few post of people having to wait a very long time i guess i got lucky, only had to wait 6 weeks, not to bad.
