Does that head gasket repair stuff you can buy almost everywhere work at all or is it too risky. I have a small coolant leak near the front of the passenger side head under the intake manifold right at the head gasket. I'm just wondering if it's worth trying or is it potentially harmful and I should just suck it up and put it in the shop or fix it myself?

That stuff only works ( and barely ) on very small leaks. Since you have already seen some coolant, I'd say no it won't work for you

Well, it turns out it's not the head gasket. It's dripping down from the intake manifold.
