help....suggestions please

i have a 2004 40th anny edition ford mustang with the crimson red paint, grey racing stripes, and the grey stripe along the bottom of the door. It looks good right now but I think a new set of rims and tires would really put it over the top. I already decided on the rims I want but I can't decide on the finish I want. Below are some links of the rims I am deciding between and the car they would go on. If any of you have had past experiences, suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

The car:

The rims:

Suggestions on which would look better? Thanks again..

I don't know about availability, but Anthracite with a Polished Lip would kick booty. We have Polished Bullitts on our 06 Redfire Vert and I think all polished or chrome would be a little blah for your car. Since you do have a nice stripe, you should try and tie into that somehow.

Remove the stripe and go with the dark wheels. Chrome and gold look ick together. The black would tie in w/ your chin spoiler.

Question though - the rims you have now seem to have a hint of gold to them... is that just the camera?

i get that response when i show the car in pics for some reason, must be the camera, sunlight, something bc there's no gold.

do you still think the black would look good if the stripe wasn't removed??

It's a tough call. I'm not sure either of those wheels are 'right' for your car.

If I were in your shoes, owning that car w/ the tan interior and gold stripe, I would consider getting something similar to the black wheels and taping off the rest of the wheel and painting the black section of the wheel w/ a rattle can of a matching gold color. I'm not afraid to try that stuff, but I understand it's not for everyone.

antracite would look great, but out of your choices, id say the second pic would look better, but that looks alot brighter than what I think a black rim looks like
