I'm a big fan of the Gran Turismo series but I've always felt they were substantially lacking in versions of the Mustang. I'm sure many of you agree

that's way too many cars...if they did that many, they'd look like garbage...I'll just stick with 25-50 and modify them myself

also, back in 07, they thought GT5 would be out within the next year or two...and I'm still waiting

 

I think their plan is to have the majority of these cars as downloadable. 340 in the game everyone buys and then as many or as few as you want to download. I really hope they dont just charge infinity dollars for this though, because that side of DLC is a load of garbage

I am a huge fan of GT too and bought GT5 Prologue as soon as it came out. How ever the list just seems to be too complete, yet no GT version of the S197? What gives with that?

 

It's always nice to hope all those would get added (or even offered as DLC). I wish they did a better job at it, but the Mustang:The Legend lives was the only way I got my multi-generation Mustang fixes. I dont have an XBox360, so no 93 fox cobras (in Forza) for me. It would be nice to tear up on a virtual stang and spend virtual money on it The real thing gets expensive! I couldnt wait for GT for PSP and in the interim got NFS, and needless to say once GT did come out for PSP, some of the reviews I read were disappointed with it and by that time I had lost interest (about a 4-5 year wait).

 

There's no way that's the real list.. You can pretty much guarantee that the only Mustangs GT5 will have will be the 05 GT, the 00 Cobra R, and probably a classic one. I love the Cobra R, but it gets a bit wearing when that's the only SN-95 to be in any game, ever. I wish games would have a greater variety of Mustangs.

 

+1 but its not suprising consider the game is japanese based or w/e u wanna call it. not to sound racist. but i too wish there were more mustangs. i dont have GT4 anymore but that was a good game. id like to have another S197 and put a 6 speed in it and set it to GT500 specs

 

Gran Turismo 2 had a 1998 GT a 1998 Cobra a 1999 GT and a 1999 Cobra!
