Good torque wrench & floor jack on a budget

I'm looking for a halfway decent torque wrench and new floor jack. These would be used mainly for tire rotations, so I don't need the best of the best.

Was curious if anyone knew of a good wrench and/or jack that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, but still works reliably?

I was actually considering a beam style wrench like this since it's cheap and reliable. With the jack I probably need one of those low profile ones with the larger cup, because I need it to work with this:

I would get one of these over the one you listed in fact I have one 10 times better at only 3 times the cost lol http://www.sears.com/craftsman-micro...3&blockType=G3

They click when you hit what ever it set at. The one you listed kind of sux to use.

Brown line metal works makes a great digital torque wrench that sells for 99 with the discount code.

Arcan makes decent quality floor jacks.

hit your local sears and get a low budget craftsman torque wrench and jack. I do the same thing myself. I have a craftsmen electric impact I use then I check them with the torque wrench. I have used it for well over 8yrs and my craftsman floor jack is easy 12 years and I just picked a 2nd a few years back, they are flawless. I have a snap-on torque wrench for motor work but I like my good old reliable craftsman stuff also.

craftsmna jacks are junk.. period.

Go to Costco or Northren tool or Amazon and get you a Arcan XL35r jack or 25 (35 is 3.5 tons) I use one daily in my shop and it has held up great for 4+ years. I had a craftsman jack bust a seal while I was under it. Jackstands saved my life, but I use them everytime.

I have had my crapsman jack for a about 6 years now no leaks no bleeding down no problems yet. My brother in law uses it just as much as I do. i'm not saying they have the best jack in the world but they are not the worst either.

Ended up going with this:
http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200263524_200263524?isSearch=558266+

And this:
http://www.harborfreight.com/Low-Pro...ODA0NyJ9%0D%0A

Was hesitant to go with HF, whenever I'm in that store I always see someone returning a jack. But this one had good reviews and price is good.

The torque wrench seemed really low priced for a clicker but it also had a lot of good reviews. I think they'll be fine, they're not in a shop getting abused day in day out.

I have a HFT torque wrench and jack and many other tools.

I wouldn't torque down a head or anything with it, but it works just fine on lug nuts and such.

I think you made some fine choices there.

Check Harbor Freight for a low profile jack if you intend to lower your car. My Craftsman no longer fits under my car.
