For the Michigan-built 2020 Mustang Hybrid, Ford promises, “V8 power and even more low-end torque.” Not surprisingly, this early ad campaign for the Mustang emphasizes swiftness.

Nothing wrong with a hybrid if it has the performance expected of a Mustang. I doubt they are trying to make a Prius out of the thing. Instant low end torque and great MPG around town aren't exactly bad things.
