The IIs have had no respect for a long time, and it's only getting worse.

They were too underpowered to satisfy the Mustang enthusiasts, even though the '74 got Motor Trend Car of the Year.

Personally, I like them. They're one of the most true to the original designs of any Mustang. The round headlights, the tri-bar rear lights, the size...

Oddly enough, though, the Pintos were ugly... go figure.

The next "generation" in order of least respect would be the V6ers.

I voted 1999-2004...cause that is when camero when down the crapper, and all chevy people hated that the mustang stole all the Glory....Plus Cobra's smoked the SS...

Codeman94. It's great that you thought out of the Box, or in this case "Out of the Ford"

By the way, is that Bush?

I had a 74 that I bought new, loved that car! Still, I can see why they get less respect. Wouldn't mind having another one though.

That's true, but I feel many GT owners are harsher towards the V6ers who want to modify their cars. After all, no one really modifies the 4-cylinder 'Stangs.
