Garage design tips

Dear experienced Mustang fanatics!

While I am pretty much a fanatic too, I am not a practicing one yet as my garage is entirely unsuitable for fixing up an old car. So here goes my question(s) to you:
What would you not like to miss in your garage?
How much space aroind your car would you like at least?
What would be on the top of your wishlist if you were to build a new garage?
What provisions would you do if you built a new garage?
What else would you provide as useful input for someone who is going to build a new garage?

Thanks a lot and greetings from Europe!

Whats up Joe? Welcome to TMS. Some good questions for sure. A drain in the floor but I wouldn't want my floor pitched alot. My garage is 14ft wide which I think is pretty good for a one car garage. I do all my work in there over my two car garage. I put enough outlets in my garage but I used 4 foot lights saved on cost at the time. I would go 8 foot lights next time with about 3 foot inbetween them.
