Ford Racing P Springs, anyone here have these?

Thinking about lowering my '08 Bullitt, but I'm thinking even the 1" drop will be too much for my taste. Is anyone here running the P Springs? If so, I'd love to see some pictures and get some opinions on them. I wish there was a cheap option to just drop the car 1/2".

I had them on my 09 GT & really liked them. I didn't do the install myself, paid a buddy to.

Looks great. You almost can't tell the car has been lowered, but the wheel gap looks much less pronounced. Do you have any more before and after pictures by chance?

Thanx! I've got tons at home, but those were the only 2 on my computer here at work. If I remember correctly, Bullitts sit a tad lower than GT's did. If that's true the P springs might not drop yours much, if at all.

That would honestly be exactly what I'm looking for. I think the only difference is that the Bullitt sits 6mm lower in the rear. I put 255/45/18 tires on it, so I basically added 1/4" to the wheel gap since the tire diameter is 1/4" smaller than the stock 235/50/18's, but they look much better from the front and back when you look at the car.

Hey guys, I'm new but I have had the P springs for a few weeks and while they are far better than the stockers I was a little disappointed that it didn't lower it more and they still don't seem stiff enough when I want them to be. The ride quality is actually better than stock and the lift/dive/roll is much reduced. The handling is much better and it seems more controllable in oversteer but anything is better than stock! The rear end shifted only slightly and is still in spec without the panhard bar. I think I will save and get the whole adjustable rear kit with a further lowering for my Phase II upgrades. And it begins...

I installed the P Springs on just the rear last month (I could handle the gap in the front, but the rear was just too much and I wanted to "level" the stance).

I have been pretty pleased with the results, and- combined with new LCAs in the rear- they've also gone a long way towards reducing wheel hop.

I've had the P springs for a few years now. I think they give the car just enough drop without it being too much.

That looks perfect. Just what I'm looking for. So did you have just the P Springs installed and nothing else? Also, did you happen to measure exactly how much the drop was? Thanks for the pictures!

It was the perfect drop for me. Yes, all I had done were the springs. I had the alignment checked right after, & it was spot on. I did measure, but I forget the #'s. It was what pretty much was advertised, though. The car rode really nice too. I used to have a T-Bird SC with Eibachs, & it rode like a dump truck.

Thanks for the info and pics. Exactly what I needed to know. I was afraid the 1" drop might have been too much, but your pics look really nice.
