Does anyone know basically in order which flowmaster mufflers are the loudest to the quietest? Trying to get an axle back for my 06 gt and wanted a louder exhaust but not straight pipes.. probly a step up from 40 series would be nice

I have flowmaster Outlaw axle-back and there LOUD !
the droning can be bad at parts but they sound fantastic.

 

Thanks guys.. ya im stuck between super 44s and outlaw.. I mean I want louddd but since I have neighbors it just causes problems since the Mustang is my daily driver.. might go outlaw though

 

OUTLAW are nice !! Especially when you go by walls...you can hear the exhaust bounce off the walls. I will post a vid.

I love my outlaws! I even asked the people that live around me if they can hear me leave in the middle of the night. No complates yet

 

**** those sound sick.. I was looking for them online and I only seem to find the 3" tubing ones but 2006 gt is 2.5" stock right? So I don't think they'd fit.

 

Nevermind I found the 2.5" ones. Gonna order them soon.

I GOT A PAIR OF FLOWMASTERS ON MY 06 GT AND I LOVE THEM. THERE LOUD UNTILL U EASE OFF THE PEDAL. NO DRONNING AT ALL. I LOVE THEM. DON'T KNW WHICH ONES I GOT CAUSE THEY CAME ON MY MUSTANG. BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE A BEAST.

 

The higher the number of the exhaust the louder they are.

 

My dad has 60 on his 68 Camaro and they are loud. I have 40 on my 05 Mustang

 

Hmm I thought it was opposite, maybe depends on car too who knows. But yeah I just finished installing the Outlaw axle back, sounds awesome. I'm happy I went with those. Def. some drone and is fairly loud on the inside in low rpms, but I like that cuz I wanna hear my exhaust. I'll post a video of it after the weather clears up. Thanks for everyones input.
