My son has a 2013 Mustang (6 Cylinder) and wants to get Flame Throwers for it. It sounds like a bad idea to me. Has anyone done this and have opinions???
Will it melt the bumper? Is it even legal???

Some nuckle-head lit his pipes at a car show and burnt half of my paint job off one of my Ramblers with my youngest in the car. When the cops came I had him charged with child abuse, destruction of private property and careless endangerment. My wife is a lawyer and she hired one of her azzho;e lawyer buddies who put that idiot(fire bug) in jail for 6 years and debt for the next 12 years of his life. The liability, personal safety and the potential of burning your own car down isn't worth it. Some of those igniters are installed right below the gas tank.

 

Ouch glad everyone was ok!!! Lesson burned...

 

Hope Krystal B. does whatever it takes to convince her son just how important it is when it comes to putting the safety of others first. If she's reading these posts? she ought to pay close attention to what Poco went through from his experience with his youngest son in the car, thanks to the person in question who obviously had no concern nor regard towards anybody but himself. Needless to say, the person responsible got exactly what he deserved, and I hope he went through hell during his 6-year jail sentence and is still in debt.
