Favorite thing you love about your pony?

What do you love most about your mustang or just mustangs in general?

Near death experiences. If you drive one of these fast ones, you will have these experiences. Very addicting.

Unlike dodge and chevy, ford has been making the mustang every year since 1964. The others forsook their customers and only brought back their muscle cars in a me too effort. I won't buy Camero or Challenger because of that. Wouldn't buy a Thunderbird now either.

the eargasm of noise when I floor the loud pedal. The noise she makes, especially under bridges or through tunnels is just astonishing.

The exhaust tone. No matter what exhaust you have, you can always tell it's a Mustang.

There is a dude who lives near me with an F-150. Some times I think it is a mustang when I hear it start. But I am getting to be able to tell it from another dude who has a S-197 GT Simular to mine only with Stock exhaust.

The tradition and history behind the mustang is unlike any other American car. It is a true American icon and sounds incredible!

Ever since I was about 10 years old I would point out every single mustang I saw. I loved their looks and how every single one seemed to be different in some unique way. Now having my own is unreal. I have had the car for over a year and I still can't stop myself from staring at it whenever I catch a glimpse of it out a window. When I wipe the drool off of my face and realize it is mine, not a better feeling in the world for me up to this point.

For me, it's definately my American Dream (albeit in the UK!). I love the Mustang story, all the way from chapter 1 in '64 and can't wait for the chapter currently being written ('13MY).

The fact it also sounds like thunder and the looks get my pulse racing every time a glance at her are just the icing on the cake.

I was (and still am) a huge fan of Ford Europe's pony car, the Capri. Unlike the Mustang, Ford let it die in '87. The S197 was the nearest to a "new Capri" I could find. It still has that back to basics, no nonsense approach to fun......a big engine up front, and rear wheel drive whilst still being just about practical for 4 people and a bit of luggage. I've owned several.

Before I bought my Mustang, I had one last summer fling with a Capri......this one, in fact
