08 mustang gt with long tube heads, o/r x pipe and slp loudmouths. my set up was too loud so they took off the slp tips and put the stock mufflers back on. could i just buy slp cats and have the slp tips put back on?

 

If loud as hell isn't what you were going for, then I think you might want to rethink your whole exhaust...

it's what i was going for but to a certain extent, the shop that put it on couldn't let me take it home with them installed because of the noise regulations the city has

 

what is the decibel limit, and how loud was your car?

 

Is not necessary to replace whole system just change the loudmouth for an other less louder probably you may need cut and weld a new ones, not big deal. So can keep the tips
