Exhaust Mufflers

I have a 2007 gt mustang, i found two companies that im interested in, borla (stingers) and bassani, both are axle back mufflers. Can I get some opinions on which sound better as far as the deep muscle sound. i already have the pypes offroad x pipes, i had the pypes axle backs as well but i did not like how raspy and tingy it made my car sound, i just want to know which direction to go with using the offroad x pipes plus which ever of the two other mufflers.

I've got borla and they sound incredible. The give it the usual mustang burble and deep growl. No drone, but I've still got my catalytic converters. They're expensive, but so worth the money. Still probably the best thing I've bought for my car

I went with the Corsa extreme. They sound better than the Borlas (IMO) and the build quality is much better read many complaints on these forums about Borla build quality lately. Another post on TMS found them on Marylandspeed for around $700. Mine are out for delivery. Will post pics and video if anyone wants/needs. Corsa website has video also. ( you have to scroll down on their web page to see them in action.

I think the Borlas are higher in price. I thought they were $900 ish. For the price I think the Ford GT500 mufflers are supposed to be pretty good as well. I think they are around $300

Use this link and a good set of headphones or home speakers.

I'm sure someone out there has the right muffler for you. For me it is the Corsa extreme.

You need an H pipe if you want deep muscle car sound. An X pipe will make it raspier and more NASCAR sounding...

Some of the ford racings are borla stingers. That's what mine are. I thought the ford racing stamped on the tip plus the pricetag were better deals than the borlas.

As to the quality of borlas, I can say I've had no problems with mine and they still look really awesome. The huge chrome tip looks great!
