Well, I would like to thank all the people on this forum for being a bad influence on me. Because of all the past and current talk on this forum and mustang evolution , I pulled the trigger and purchased a one piece aluminum driveshaft from American Muscle. I guess my kids won't eat for a few weeks but heck, eating is so overrated. Besides, were talking about a mustang here. Lol. Darn me, I have folded into the peer pressure of this aluminum driveshaft hype. Lol. Hopefully, with the 3:73 gears that will be going in along with the aluminum driveshaft my 11 sixer will have a lot more performance power. Good by 2:73 gears and heavy two piece driveshaft

"Eating is over Rated" - This is too funny lol!

I'm glad to hear you pulled the trigger on the Driveshaft and 3.73 gears! This will make a huge difference on your 11' V6, it won't even feel like the same car. With the diet you'll be giving your rotating mass and the much more aggressive gear ratio, you're going to have a huge smile on your face!

Enjoy your new parts and let me know if you have any questions! Thank you for your business and loyalty. We really appreciate it!

Dan, Thanks so much. Love AM and the 6% discount i got. Can't wait for the parts. With my 91 Hybrid tune the sixer should be a mini beast. I'm just waiting for you guys to get your Ford friction modifier oil and then I can get the gear combo pack.

Dan, no time to wait for the friction modifier. I'll just order it from somewhere else. No big deal. I just placed the order into you guys for the 3:73 gears, install and bearing kit along with the pinion and bearing kit, gear oil 75w 140. I did get some mixed information on the gear oil. The installer told me to order the 75w 140 oil and the rear for the 8.8 only uses 2 quarts gear oil. I had ordered a third quart last night and 75w 90.

kids need to appreciate food and going without for a cause is a good start. You need to show appreciation for your Mustang and lavish it with gifts. Enough said lol all hail to the parts department.

Great choice one of the best mods to spend money on in my opinion was to put a one piece aluminum drive shaft in! Man does more torq get to the rear tires I didn't think the stock shaft made you loose so much but **** its alto of fun to drive the car now! Car burns out all over the place lol. But now you have to get BBK lower control arms to hook better. I think american muscle would agree right? Lol I just ordered those and an exedy Mach 500 stage 3 clutch from American muscle and had it installed this weekend! Best money I have recently spent my car is a monster now I feel happier than a pig in ___t if you know what I mean thanks American muscle! Everyone should do these upgrades mustang feels the way it should have felt from the beginning!

Just got back home from the shop and really pleased with the 3:73 gears and one piece aluminum driveshaft. I can not believe Ford is using a two piece let alone a two piece for the Gt model. What a huge difference in quality between the one piece aluminum driveshaft and factory stock. Good grief you can see why its weaker in the middle.
