i got a tuner from my dad. when i try to put it in it says (( invalid license))..And i have no way of unmatting it from the old mustang because it was totalled.. I was told the tuner will no longer work, can anyone help me out?

 

They can be unlocked but I'm not sure how or who unlocks them.
