Well, I wanted to be a cool dad and let my 17-year-old son drive my '06 Mustang. I also warned him several times to stay away from the curbs because it will scratch the wheels. This is what I got. Of course he didn't tell me or even care enough to get out and look and see what damage was done.

i dont have much room to speak cause the last vehicle i borrow from dad was his 97 ranger. took it offroading and blew something up. but i called and confessed haha, we still gotta fix it haha

hmm... tuff call.. I would take this opportunity to have him realize what the value of things are outside of money.. needs to replace your rim, and do you right. 17yrs old is well old enough to work for the money to buy a replacement and return your vehicle to the way it was when he borrowed it.

If I messed up my parents Vehicle I would definitely have to pay for it no matter how long it take to pay off
