Does the claybar remove wax? I realize you should wash with Dawn or equivalent to strip wax, but does the claybar complete the stripping or is there a better method?

The clay bar seems to get rid of almost everything on the surface... i had some old water spots that i couldnt get rid of that the clay bar could... after claybaring i used nu finish and then a cleaner wax

my friend swears by nu finish and so does my dad but im still not compleatly conviced, it left some residue... i like how Carnauba Clearner Wax got rid of some marks even the claybar missed... next time i may leave the nu finish our of the process, seemed slightly unessary
