Man...a convertable?....more than a million.

Most of the cars he owns, cost more than a million each. So, if he gets involved in the bidding and it gets on, then it can sure hit 1.5m.

Pratt is the guys name that bought all his cars including the TT Cobra and he lives here in the Phoenix area. He has a warehouse converted into a car palace..$1million in neon signs alone...

It'll easily reach over 6 mil and as high as 12 I'll bet they have offers already but the process has to run its course that that offer just got higher. is about all I can do wowa Nellie Nellie Jackson that is .

According to Hemmings:
who is Ron Pratte?
Secretive, for sure. The Chandler, Arizona, man who submitted the $5 million winning bid for Carroll Shelby’s Supersnake Cobra has consistently refused media interviews, including to our editors. But he certainly knows what he wants and has the means to get it via the red-hot housing market in the American Southwest - specifically Phoenix and Scottsdale. As stockjockey over at the underthecounter blog points out, Ron owns Pratte Development Company, Inc., “one of the nation’s largest wood framing and concrete foundation companies.” So he builds houses for a living. In one of the fastest-growing areas of the country.
And while many in the car collector hobby know of Pratte mostly from last year’s $4.1 million purchase of the Futurliner bus, he’s no newcomer to the Mustang and Shelby scenes: He also bought the first Shelby GT500 last year for nearly $650,000.

I hope Shelby's personal car does a moonshot, and here's why. My good friend is taking his 1970 Concourse restored MCA Grill Medallion winning GT500 out there to put through the auction. It goes up the same night as Shelby's own car (Shelby's is up about 40 spots ahead of my friends car). Even though Carroll's car is a vert, if the people who want one bad enough and didn't get one of the earlier '69 GT500's that went up before (I believe there are 3 others), then his may just get bid on REAL STRONG! I'm hoping for this as I'll be out there at the auction (hopefully on stage. We're going to see if I can ride shotgun in the car with his other friend who's coming with driving) watching the madness unfold! I can't wait for January 16th to get here and fly out!! I'll be sure to post pics when I get there.
