I was wondering if anyone here went to the Carlisle Ford Nationals....I guess I kinda posted this too early since it is saturday and they aren't over till Sunday. Anyway, I went on Friday and it was pretty cool. They had alot of the mustang concepts, and other concepts including the V-10 Shelby Cobra and new Ford Bronco concept.
Oh and they had a Ford GT( man that thing is sweet), They were putting gas in it when we were going past so we stayed and got video of it pulling away. I also got tons of pictures of all(not really all that would take too many memory cards) the cool mustangs that were there.
One kinda funny part, but it really wasnt. is that the 05' Mustang GT they had must have come loose in the trailer when they were hauling it, and the rear bumper was all scrached up (that would have made me sick if i was the one that strapped it down).

I just got back from there, and it was the coolest thing I've ever seen. I took about 80 pics, but they're too big to post yet. I'll get to shrinking them so I can put some up. Did anyone see the jacked up Aerostar?

HAHA..yeah i saw that. It was really cool, i got a ton of pics too. I might put them on a site, and put a link on here. I also got alot of digital video of the drags, and the Ford GT.

I was there with PearBear....we got video of the 05 starting up and driving out but the darn rain got in the camera and we have to let it dry out. then we have to get the video on the 'puter and find a host for it

So, who saw Chris Theodore ? I was 2nd in line to get a poster. (I wanted info). So I asked about SEs. He said he couldn't say, but asked me "What would you like?" and smiled. Then said, "Wait until SEMA" You'll be pleasantly surprised".
So, I guess we'll find out in Nov. about SEs.
BTW, Brad, I picked up the CDC honeycomb panel. Hopefully I'll have it on tomorrow and post some pix.
BTW, HRL, I'll host the vid.

Much thanks to mr-mstng for offering to host our video, once the camera dries out... (it actually says on the screen "CONDENSATION, PLEASE WAIT"...I thought that was funny)
BTW- I guess the "burnout demonstration" was cancelled, it was supposed to be at 7 in front of the grand stand but at 6 something it seemed deserted and too wet....too bad

Brad, of course, I was going to tell you that. Sorry I don't have higher resolution ones. I put the wrong memory stick in, :bang: and needed to conserve space to get all the pix I wanted. Hopefully some of my friends got some better ones. If they did, I'll send them to you.

GREAT PICS ROB!!!That's awesome that you got the '63 Mustang II Concept, '05 GT Convertible Concept, and Preproduction '05 GT in the same shot! I definitely have to go next year.
