Car Shows: Original vs. Modified?

I don't participate in many car shows (namely because they are limited to "classics" - Pre 1972), but I see on most registration forms they have classes for "original" and "modified". Is this subject to interpretation or is there some kind of standard definition for these terms?

I have modified my 2006 GT with a CAI, pulleys, CMCV delete, lowering springs, etc. Would this still pass for original? I'm thinking once you yank the stock powertrain or drivetrain or modify the chassis, then you are modified. Bolt ons still equals "original". Or am I just BS'ing myself?

in my club's definition, anything but showroom stock is acceptable in the stock class. Your car would be on the Modified class in my club.
