What do you guys think? I noticed this when the new mustang first came out. The nose/cowl is very similar

The Volante is the convertible or So I remember. This one's labelled as a Vantage. Any takers on that?

Its a pretty good looking car for the 70s. Might even have borrowed something from the 69/70 mustang models

Or is the G35 closer?

I never thought about that, but it has always looked like a fancy Mustang II to me.

Yeah, I agree with the AM comment, and I hate to say it but the S197 and the Aston have the best feature of the maligned Mustang II: the big wide nose. Just past the headlights is where it starts to get Pinto-ish..

Always loved the AM though. 390hp in 1977? Sweet! Too bad they are about a bajillion dollars.

The fender flares and hood lines of the AM caught my eye. But hey, if it looks good, it's going to get copied.

That GB is uhhhh, interesting.

The thing I find ironic is that the mid-90s Vantage is a heck of a lot like the SN95 Mustang (99-04 in particular).

And EVEN more ironic than than is that Ford Mo. Co. Is the parent of AM now.

Man that is a tight car.

AM really knows how to build cars. Check out this DOUBLE blown AMV8.

We need a Super Cobra like that!!
