Call me a rebel.
So last night was a meetup of various cars, put together by an employee of the Lowe's nearby. Pretty nifty, actually. Although he's still learning, this was the second Saturday for him, and he's learning.
Still, heck of a turnout. I went with Awesome, my Dad went in his FrankenFalcon, and we had a good time oogling at various cool cars and talking with new people.
Ok, time to leave, I do a parade lap then hit the main exit.. windows down, because cool.
Some guy there says, "Do a burnout, man!"
I reply, "I'm afraid I might break something. I'll just leave really quick-like, how's that?"
I then slammed Awesome into first, dumped the clutch, did a sideways exit screaming tires all the way, recovered straight, hit second with a good chirp and then shut down at the speed limit.
'Cause it's not about how you speedin', it's about the way ya be leavin'.
Now, that's the naughty 'street racer' thing that we don't promote around here, and I'm sorry, but... you know, every so often, one just has an opportunity to be naughty, and why not?
But the 'rebel' part?
I didn't crash!! I wasn't in the demographic of 'Mustangs leaving car shows always wreck' thing.
Heh.
Ok, that is all. Go ahead and ban me, mods, it's ok.
